My partner and I shelled out big $$ today to see Jupiter Ascending at a nearby Imax theater, and we were definitely not disappointed. The movie was well done, and it was visually stunning.
Unfortunately, this movie, like the ill-fated Princess of Mars a couple of years ago, which was equally stunning, has been killed by reviewers who apparently panned it without having seen it.
The trailers aren't particularly noteworthy, but the film is.

It starts the eminently fuckable Channing Tatum, even if he is kind of scruffy-looking in the film. One of the villains is also quite doable.
Do yourself a favor and see this movie with an open mind. You won't be disappointed.
