Latvian mezzo-soprano Elina Garanca  (pronounced ga-ranch-a) portrays the Gypsy Carmen.  In this scene, she has been restrained (note her wrist is wired to the fence) and uses her wiles to gain her freedom.  This is from a 2010 Metropolitan Opera Performance
