The average IMDB rating for this movie is 6.2 out of 10. Funnily enough, the 1171 reviews currently on Amazon.Com have the same average.
This is the story of Adam (played by Matthew Ludwinski, who is extremely easy on the eyes), who arrives in LA after having unsuccessfully pursued an acting career in NYC. He moves in with his best female friend Candy (played by Allison Lane). During the course of the film we see many of the ways in which aspiring actors in Los Angeles prostitute themselves (both literally and figuratively) in pursuit of that phantom goal - an acting career.
I won't bore you with spoilers, except to say that Adam tries everything to get a film career going, up to and including selling his gorgeous body. At the time of the film the actor was 28 and at 6 ft 1 in and 160 pounds was very nicely proportioned.
The film isn't great theater, but it is well done, and the audience is treated to frequent scenes of Adam shirtless, and occasionally clad only in his underwear.
It does have a happy ending.
