Movie Review:"Boys"

"Boys" is a sweet little 'coming of age' story about two track stars who discover they have feelings for each other.  There is neither sex nor nudity in this movie, just a slow build-up of the relationship until they reach the point of a first kiss.

It's hard to believe that this charming film is actually a fairly low-budget 'made for Dutch tv' movie.
It was refreshing to see a sixteen-year-old actor playing the part of a sixteen-year-old, and  Gijs Blom as Sieger does the job very well.  His boyfriend Marc is portrayed by twenty-year-old Ko Zandvliet, who does not look that old.

I can't say enough things about this charming film from 2013.   Filmed in Dutch with English subtitles.
